Do you have a #vectorball from eyeonballinc ? Try this progression of the 2 ball box drill and tag handeyebody ! Rules: 1. Hold a vector ball in your left hand and a regular ball in your right hand. 2. Do the 2 ball box throw, the right hand throws the regular ball straight up, as your left hand zips the vector ball over to your right. Make the throw hard enough to light up when it hits your right hand. If ball flashes Green 🍀: Zip the vector ball back to the left hand before catching the high throw. If the ball flashes Blue 🔵: Drop the vector ball and let it fall, before you catch the high throw with your right hand. If the ball flashes Red 🔴 or doesn't flash 🚫: Hold the vector ball in your right hand while you catch the high throw (both balls in the right hand) Be sure to reverse and do it on the left side too! Tip: Get comfortable with the 2 Ball Box drill first. Tip 2: Try it with a partner bounce passing you the vector ball while you hold and throw a ball straight up (could be a basketball, volleyball, football, etc. For sport specific training). Have fun, and keep your brain and body activated!

Here's new move for you to work on at home this week! With two balls, throw one straight up from your right hand. While it is in the air, zip the left hand ball across to the right hand. And then pass it quickly back to the left hand before the first throw lands back in your right hand. Repeat alternating each side. As you get comfortable, try to throw both balls at the same time, with low vertical throws. Your vision should focus on the ball in the air, not the pass back and forth. This is a great way to build up your coordination and ball handling skills. And it's a foundation that opens to door to a wide range of solo and partner drills. For example, do this move with a partner, where each of you represent a "hand", holding one ball each. Throw your ball up as your partner passes quickly to you, and pass their ball back before your ball lands in your hand with a catch. Tips to learn the move: With one ball, throw it straight up, and clap twice before you catch with the same hand. The claps are the rhythm and timing of the second ball. Next, add the second ball, but throw the first ball a little higher than normal, and do the quick pass back and forth. Don't try to throw both balls at the same time just yet. And if course, have fun and don't worry if it takes a while to get solid!

Geraud Sanders ( gsands_7) was a 3rd Team All-American that led the nation in yards per reception this past season. I was told on day one that if he could touch anything in the 4.5’s he’d have a good chance at getting a shot at the NFL. . On day one (1/25/20) he ran 4.72 and 4.73. On his Pro Day (3/9/20) he was given an official time of 4.62, with it being verified that multiple teams clocked him in the 4.54 to 4.59 range. . The scary part is that Geraud is a high 4.4 with more training. With his duties at the Air Force Academy of preparing to be a future fighter pilot, I wasn’t able to work with him as much as the other fellas. What I am amazed with, is the changes he made to his start between 2-28-20 and 3-9-20. The last in-person conversation we had started with me saying “Take everything I’m about to tell you to work on between now and Pro Day as if you will never see, or hear from me again.” He took it and ran with it...literally! #WholeCliqueEatin

As promised, here is a new combo that feels amazing when you lock it in! This one takes a while to get smooth, but so worth it to practice a little each day. Start with the shoulder throw from the last post, follow immediately with a behind the neck throw from the same side (each time passing the second ball over to the throwing hand to make room for the catch). Try to learn it from both sides too. Start with just one ball to work on each throw by itself. The lower you can get the behind the neck throw (vs throwing over the head), the smoother it will be. The rhythm makes it fun to move, and it's great to do with a metronome or to music. You can work in more body/dance movements too, lots to build on here! It works your wrists, shoulders, neck, peripheral vision and tracking the ball, proprioception, crossing the midline, core rotation, and more! So so good! And fun! Can you tell it's my favorite combo? :) Let me see your progress, and tell me how it feels.

Back with a new exercise this week, and one of my favorites for a shoulder and wrist warm up! Start with just one ball, and reach back to throw up and over the same arm/shoulder (this is different from throwing behind your back over the opposite shoulder). You angle the throw so that it lands towards the center of your body to catch with the other hand. It can take a bit of practice just to get the position/angle, so don't give up if it's hard to get the ball up and over your arm. You really feel it in your wrist/arm/shoulder, as it is not a common movement/position you are used to doing. This video shows the 2 ball variation, in which after you make the throw, pass the second ball over before making the catch. Bonus: Alternate sides left and right on each shoulder throw. It feels great when you get it, and tomorrow I'll share another exercise building on this move that is why I love this move so much! Let me know how it feels!

Can’t be afraid to be physical with DBs when they shoot arms out. He also doesn’t step into the DB which keeps his distance away from the stab. JONATHAN TAYLOR RB WISCONSIN 🏈 - - Jonathan Taylor looks to be the top running back in this years draft class 🏈 the dude is a beast who averaged 6.7 yards per carry. He is being compared to 3 of the top running backs in the league to, Todd Gurley of the Falcons, Saquon Barkley of the Giants, and Ezekiel Elliott of the Cowboys. - - The dude impressed even more after the combine at his Pro Day. He did show off his hands and route running ability out of the backfield a little more as well. Although, you can see his weakness is in his route running, and he needs to work on that, especially now that running backs in the NFL need to be multidimensional 🔥 - - Look for this guy to be a later round 1 draft pick. Their is a likelihood he may slide 2 round to, but I just do not see that happening. Whoever drafts this guy can look to having a franchise guy on the offensive side of the ball 🏈 - - *I do not own the rights to this video.
