The Banded Leg Press • The goal of adding band(s) to this exercise, is to better match the strength profile of the legs to the resistance profile of the exercise. • When the legs are extended out, they are stronger than when they are in the bottom position, therefore the band will allow the weight to drop off (become lighter) in the bottom, weaker position and become progressively heavier as the legs reach the top (stronger) position. • This allows for a fuller range challenge throughout the exercise and a more balanced feel to the movement rather than the load being heavier at one point than another. • This probably needed another band to increase the resistance on the way up more, which would better balance the reps from bottom to top position. #khfitness #physiquecoach

🔵SWIPPATE A DESTRA per il cambiamento e del buon Posing fatto male come piace a me😋 - È da parecchio tempo che non pubblico un cambiamento(anche perché ci vuole tempo eh).⏭️ Questo percorso è durato esattamente 9mesi e,nonostante gli alti e bassi, non posso che essere entusiasto di tutto ciò😻. - Per arrivare a questa condizione, ho iniziato con una programmazione con un volume di lavoro basso ma efficace proprio per evitare che sprecasse del tempo a lavorare inutilmente📗(No Junk Volume pls). - Ovviamente dopo aver acquisito nuovi schemi motori, l'obiettivo era quella di creare effort ad ogni ripetizione in modo da rendere quel poco di volume 'qualitativo'.🚂 - Fatto ciò, non ci restava che aumentare piano piano il volume fino ad un overreaching sui distretti carenti, scaricare e così via(No Overtraining pls) 🌚 - Non vi sto a spiegare tutto ma ho fatto una semplice sintesi. - In poche parole, chi si trova in queste condizioni e vuole migliorare, deve applicare 2 semplici concetti: 'MAGNA DE MENO E SPIGNI DI PIÙ'🏆♥️ - #bodytrasformation #bodybuilding #bodybuildingmotivation #bodyrecomp #recovery #training #personaltraining #coaching

7 Sins Series - Sin: Sloth - No I'm not talking about the adorable creature and the animated version from zootropolis. - Sloth is the avoidance of physical or interlectual work (basically summing up parliament 😝). - Sloth is the desire for ease, even at the expense of the most minimal of task. Whatever we do in life requires effort, everything we do is to be a means of gratification and self preservation. The slothful person is unwilling to do what is needed to be done  because of the effort it takes to do it, Sloth becomes a sin when it slows down and even brings to a halt the energy we must expend in order to function through our daily lives. - You could easily assimilate the days of the week with the 7 Sins and Monday most certainly being that of the sin Sloth, we all know it and we all say the same things when those alarms go off (and those that say they wake up happy to any morning alarm are all lieing crotch goblins). Many will lay there and contemplate a valid excuse for either not going to work or the gym or even for a piss. - But the one area where sloth really takes a tight grip and releases its seeds of sin, is with the millennial child generation in that where will you find a large number of the youth population?! .... Infront of computer monitors and large screen TVs playing nothing but the latest online game. - That is where we have gone wrong is we made connectivity to the world far too accessable to our kids and some adults alike, as soon as you switch it on everything is there at your fingertips from your friends to strangers. What is making it harder for us to get this current population of over weight kids off their asses is because for some fucked up reason we now class online gaming as a sport ?! And we reward them for being number one in the region and then furthermore hold massive gaming events. - Where kids as young as 15 can be found screaming at a screen while slamming 5 cans of energy drink down their necks, while people have paid to sit and watch and call them awesome, Fuck that shit with the capital F .... That is not sport that is not something that is going to keep them healthy instead it will reward them with money

“Our words have power. They impact others, but they also impact us.” - MICHAEL HYATT How many times have you been guilty of saying “I have to _____”, rather than “I get to ____.” I know I have. (I have to) is the language of duty. Nothing wrong with that. Responsibility is important. But too often we say it with a sigh, like it’s a sentence—or we’re a victim. It can easily become pessimistic, and nothing will zap you more. (I get to do it) is the language of privilege. It’s as if we have been given a gift, and we are relishing the opportunity. This subtle shift may seem small, but it has a big impact on our attitude. Choose the language of privilege every chance you get. I don’t have to workout this morning; I get to workout. What a privilege to be healthy and be able to care for my body. I don’t have to stop by the grocery store on my way home; I get to stop by the grocery store. What a privilege to be in a place to have the means to get food and to not worry about where you’re next meal is going to come from. I work out when I travel. I mean duh, it’s my job right? I should be doing this right? 😉 Do you keep your normal exercise habit when you travel? Or do you feel the need to rest from training? I’m out of town for a wedding today so had to mix things up. Couldn’t get my normal lower body lift in today so had to hit my normal Sunday long run 👍 Let’s be real. I don’t need to tell you that keeping normal habits (like exercise) when you travel is a good thing. We all have common sense and know that. But, what I work on with clients is the WHY for making certain decisions. Dig deeper. WHY do you skip workouts when you travel? Are you out of routine? No exercise equipment? Out partying? Poor nutrition? . . . Do you enjoy your normal exercise program? If you hate it, this might be the reason you want a break when you travel 🤷‍♂️ . . . Do you want a break because your mind needs a break? You’re burned out? This could mean your normal exercise is too intense. Remember, even “easy” cardio counts 😉 All of these reasons can be valid. They can also be excuses. Dig deeper and figure out your WHY. In the end, exercising on trips is not about being perfect. It’s about keeping momentum. ^^^ The most under appreciated aspect of fitness is MOMENTUM.
