Range of motion. Use it or lose it. Throughout our daily lives we tend to get stuck in repetitive movement patterns wether it's the sports we play or the work we do. And even if we do make time for a workout routine it is easy to get stuck repeating the same movement patterns. Many of the workout plans you find will have all your workouts working on a single plane. Unfortunately this causes one muscle acting on a joint to be overactive and another to become under active leading to a muscle imbalance across a particular joint. This can lead to muscles that are chronically tight or sore, joint impingement, and damage due to the joints inability to operate smoothly. In order to address these kind issues and prevent them we need to intentionally challenge all the muscles that influence a joints movement. In this case our hip is a ball and socket and needs to operate through 360 degrees of rotation. Lunges are a great tool to help keep our hips strong and keep our original ones intact just don't get stuck doing them only front to back. If your dieting or want to lose weight there is no need to take things you love out of your diet. This turkey burger is 350 calories. I swapped the bun for a lower carb/calorie option. Swipe right to see what I used. Health foods don’t always = lower calories as ‘bad’ foods don’t always = higher calories. So yes you can lose weight while enjoying things like burgers and chocolate however you can also gain weight by eating health foods. Btw I really don’t like the term ‘bad’ foods, ‘sometimes’ foods sounds a lot better haha! I believe in portion control and eating in moderation.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ During dieting or food limitation, you are training your brain to label certain food as “bad”, eg. 𝘊𝘈𝘙𝘉𝘚. Unless you plan to stick with the diet forever, if not at some point you will stop. By this point, you will have a hard time overcoming the psychological barrier to eat normally again because you are feeling guilty of eating the “bad” food.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Carbs is not the problem, eating too much of it is. Moose and I headed out to powderface creek for a little out and back fun run/hike. Somehow I’ve never done that before 🤷🏼‍♀️ but today was a great day for it! I can’t wait to come back in the summer and run the entire thing! (OR maybe even make a loop out of it with the ridge! 🙊) 🏔 By the end of my run my foot was preeeeetty painful. Tomorrow I begin a new chapter in rehabbing my hip and therefor foot disfunction. This has been going on for far too long, and I’m curious to see how this new approach will go. It was very weird hearing a practitioner refer to me as an athlete when I’ve never seen myself as more than a fitish weekend warrior. 😳 Maybe in a few months time my body will be ready to give being an athlete a real go? But for today I am just super grateful for 4 mostly functional limbs, good four legged company, and a beautiful place for us to play. 🙏🏼 I am very lucky #sundayfunday #sundaysareformountains

Os músculos que compõe as panturrilhas são os sóleos e gastrocnêmios. Treinando com bom volume e intensidade você alcançará bons resultados. Se você não vê resultado, provavelmente não está treinando certo. Vamos as dicas: 1. Utilize um número de repetições mais alta. Está estratégia irá ser importante por conta da pequena amplitude articular e curta duração da repetição. 2. Utilize tanto exercícios em que os joelhos ficam estendidos, quanto exercícios em que os joelhos ficam dobrados. 3. Exercícios com joelhos dobrados utilize cerca de 30 rep por série, exercícios com joelhos estendidos, utilize 15 a 20 rep. 4. Iniciantes utilizem de 3 a 5 séries. Intermediários, de 5 a 10 e avançados no mínimo 10. 5. Para os avançados, métodos de intensificação como drop set, rest pause e biset, serão ótimas opções. 6.
