When activewear becomes everyday clothes 😂💗 . These last few days I have felt amazing! As someone who struggles with anxiety and mental health, these last couple weeks I was feeling anxious out of no where and was noticing that the more I consume of the media the worse it is for my mental health. I feel better, been crushing my workouts & making sure my health and nutrition is on point. I am very grateful that my husband and I still have jobs. What happens if I eat after 8pm?⁣ ⁣ Simple answer for some of you who will be worrying about evening meals - absolutely nothing. ⁣ -⁣ Don’t identify fat loss with so much restriction against yourself, especially when it comes to eating everything you can before a specific time.⁣ -⁣ As I have always said and will continue to say, it comes down to calories in vs. calories out.⁣ -⁣ First focus on hitting your daily caloric goals and then focus on keeping the average for the week as a deficit number too.⁣ -⁣ If I need 2000 calories to lose X amount of body fat per week, my aim is to keep that number at 2000 for my weekly average too. 🤔¿SALUD, RENDIMIENTO O ESTÉTICA? - 📚Estos son los pilares que queremos mejorar u optimizar a la hora de empezar en el mundo del entrenamiento y la nutrición. -- 🧔🏻En el gráfico vemos que aquello que es óptimo para la mejora de la salud, no tiene porqué ser lo óptimo para mejorar el rendimiento o la estética, desde otro punto de vista, aquello que nos ayuda a mejorar el rendimiento, no tiene porqué ser óptimo o adecuado para mejorar la salud o estética y así mismo viéndolo desde la estética. 🤔 - 📝Esto que puede parecer obvio, sigue siendo fuente de errores y debates entre nutricionistas y entrenadores deportivos con nutricionistas y entrenadores clínicos, que se dedican a las patologías. Los primeros tienden a reducir todo al rendimiento y estética, que muchas veces dejan de lado la salud y los segundos tienden a pensar que todo el mundo está enfermo, y a veces obvian el alto rendimiento, para conseguir objetivos, dejando de lado que se deben establecer ciertas pautas y que son muy diferentes de lo que buscaría una persona que no tenga ese objetivo como prioridad.🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ -- 👌🏻Entonces la respuesta a estas pregunta siempre va a ser un DEPENDE, un atleta de alto rendimiento que entrena dos veces al día de varias horas por sesión, no tiene los mismos requerimientos que una persona que va al gimnasio 1 hora y después se va a trabajar sentado todo el día, o una persona que hace ejercicio dos veces a la semana solo por salud. Son contextos, perfiles y objetivos diferentes.🧠🧠 - 📚Hay algo que sí que va a ayudar a la mejora de los tres pilares o estemos en un punto intermedio, como lo es el MUSCULO en sí. ¿Como?🤔 - 🧔🏻SALUD: En un estudio se vio como las personas con menos masa muscular morían más rápido que las que tenían más, independiente del porcentaje graso, además, las que tenían más masa muscular, tenían una mejor calidad de vida y menos dependencia de otras personas u objetos. TGIF! Start off your weekend off right with the below full body HIIT 🔥 1. Walking planks - alternating elbows, 6 each side. Modification: move from the knees with a hinge forward from your hips. 2. Plyo lunges - alternating legs, 6-10 each leg. Modification: step into lunge instead of jumping. Feel free to add reps if you are modifying. 3. Inchworm pushups - 8 reps. Keep core tight throughout. 4. Burpees - 10 total. Modification: mountain climbers, alternating knees for 15 per side, 30 total. 5. Jumprope - Set a timer for 1-2 minutes, and jump. Modification: If you don't have a jumprope, lightly hop in place, landing softly on the balls of your feet, and mimic the wrist rotation motion. Repeat circuit 4 times!
