CONFIDENCE IN DA GYM~ Okay, so y’all know I luv the gym very, very much 🤪. I’ve been going there since middle school for volleyball training, & after so many years I honestly view the gym as a safe space. I get to put in my earbuds for an hour, turn my music up, & NOBODY TALKS TO ME (but tbh I love to talk so anything other time ur good)!! HOWEVER, there’s no hiding that the gym is normally full of guys (who letz be honest are usually CUTIES), who look like they know what they’re doing (& they probs do ngl). It can be intimidating as a girl to use equipment or do a hard circuit for the fear of looking stupid & ppl thinking “why the heck are u here?” BUT. Here’s the thing. NOBODY IS PAYING ATTENTION TO YOU AT THE GYM. ITS. IN. UR. MIND. If you feel intimidated, 9x out of 10 it’s YOU who is intimidating YOU. People are at the gym to push themselves, they’re focused on their form, their reps, & their music. Sooo, girl to girl, GET OUT OF YOUR OWN HEAD. . Here are some tips I got for ya tho, cuz believe me, we’ve all been there🙋🏻‍♀️: • put in your earbuds & turn the music up LOUD (this tunes out the world + makes the workout more fun) • this is prime time to put ur RBF to work sista😉 • remind yourself that no one is looking at you (& if they are, they probs just think ur pretty😏) •come into the gym w a PLAN (write in on ur notes,etc) it gets nerve racking if you don’t know what to do & awkwardly stand there. COME PREPARED. • buy cute workout clothes (makes u feel like a bad betch) •fake it til u make it, PRETEND you know what ur doing, no one knows the difference! ~ good luck if you’re new to the gym, I hope this helps & feel free to dm me if you still don’t feel comfortable & want some hype:)) #hypegirl #gym #rbf #girlswhogym #workout #confidence #hardworkpaysoff

💥 Ciclado de Carbohidratos 💥 ' El ciclado de carbohidratos básicamente consiste en tener días altos y días bajos en el consumo de carbohidratos durante la semana. 🤔 ' Es una herramienta en la nutrición que te permite consumir más calorías en días de entrenamiento y menos en días de descanso. Esto tiene un ligero impacto en a la hora de buscar conservar y aumentar el músculo. ' Otro beneficio es la parte psicológica ya que llevar este tipo de estrategia suele ser más placentero para algunos. ' ⚠️ El ciclado de carbohidratos sólo es una estrategia (herramienta) más, que como cualquier otra parte del balance energético semanal (calorías). Al final de la semana tendrás que haber cumplido con tu requerimiento total dependiendo tu objetivo. 🔔 ' Un ejemplo de esta estrategia quedaría así : . Balance energético semanal: 17,500 kcal . Lunes: 3,000 (entrenamiento pesado) Martes: 2,500 (entrenamiento ligero) Miércoles: 3,000 (entrenamiento pesado) Jueves: 2,500 (entrenamiento ligero) Viernes: 3,000 (entrenamiento pesado) Sábado: 1,750 ( descanso) Domingo: 1,750 (descanso) . Total de kcal: 17,500 😉 ' ➡️ En conclusión es una estrategia más de nutrición que se basa en el mismo principio del balance energético. Como toda estrategia puede ser mejor para ti o no. THROWBACK🤭 This was a little over a year ago back when I tried my first cut. I remember it being challenging. It’s definitely not easy, but I also remember having the dedication because I wanted to test my knowledge to see what I could achieve. . However, I can say that over the last year I have learned way more and have learned to be patient. I can’t wait to see what package I bring next time I decide to cut down. What? Did someone say 11 days out from competition?🤔👂🏼🤪 . The countdown is on! 🔥🏋🏻‍♀️ Besides the handful of training sessions that I have left, here is what I do to prepare for a meet: . 1.Recovery 💆🏻‍♀️: full body massages + sauna time is the way to go! It is CRITICAL to be in the best physical state possible💪🏼! There is nothing better than feeling nice and mobile for the big day ☺️ .⠀⠀ 2.Lots of Rest💤: this goes hand and hand with recovery ☺️ Sleep greatly enhances muscle recovery! . 3.Mini water cut: with the help of dandelion root tea and water, I have been able to successfully cut weight for all of my previous competitions 😊 I’m only sitting about 0.5-1 kg over my weight class category this far out so no worries here 😊🔥 . 4.Meditation & prayer 🙏🏼: this brings the mental game into play 😎🧠 Focus plays a huge role in competition 👀 . Personally, I get HYPED for competition day 🔥 All of the hard work + hours of training prepares you for this one moment🏋🏻‍♀️ How can you not be excited for it?😍🙏🏼
